Machine Girl have always operated as an inimitable, inventive, and individual sonic
phenomenon. The newly trio’d—Matt Stephenson [vocals, producer], Sean Kelly
[drums], and Lucy Caputi [guitar]—fortify a punk exoskeleton with electronic alchemy
and cinematic ambition outfitted for an uncompromisingly heavy attack. Rave, metal,
punk, and pummeling electronic (and real) drums collide and splinter like shrapnel into
kaleidoscopic blasts of vibrant color and visceral sound.
After amassing millions of fans, hundreds of millions of streams, inciting critical acclaim,
and captivating at cap crowds in nineteen (19) countries YTD in 2025 so far, the band
continue to elevate on their seventh full-length LP, Psycho Warrior.
“I’d been reading analytical psychology and the writings of Joseph Campbell and Jung,”
recalls Matt. “There’s a concept of the collective unconscious and these archetypes that
we innately have. We adopt different personae in order to get through the day. In
essence, you complete yourself by facing your shadow self. To do so, you must accept
the less savory aspects of who you are. There’s a lot of validity to these theories. Right
now, we’re a very psychologically damaged culture and society. We’re being pushed
over the edge with social media and technology. Any chance of resistance against these
systems starts in the mind, so this was the genesis of Psycho Warrior.”
Machine Girl carved out an incomparable lane upon arrival in 2012. Stephenson’s 2014
full-length debut LP, Wlfgrl, achieved bona fide cult status shocked to life by “Out by 16,
Dead on the Scene,” “Ghost,” and “Mg1,” which reeled in north of 43 million Spotify
streams and counting. Their sound proceeded to completely reinvent itself across each
LP that followed - Gemini [2015], …Because I’m Young Arrogant and Hate Everything
You Stand For [2017], The Ugly Art [2018], U-Void Synthesizer [2020], and 2022’s
two-part Original Soundtrack for the video game Neon White. Most recently, 2024’s MG
Ultra incited the most enthusiastic critical applause of the band’s career so far. Pitchfork
professed, “Their music together plays like the soundtrack to the final boss level of
some finger-blistering bullet hell,” and Dazed mused, “it’s hard to imagine a better
soundtrack for the revolution than Machine Girl.”

Smerz is the Norwegian duo of Henriette Motzfeldt and Catharina Stoltenberg, based in Oslo and Copenhagen. The duo is set to release their sophomore album, Big city life, on May 23 through Danish label Escho. Using collages to capture moments of everyday life and dreams, Smerz tell stories of love, apathy, solitude and friendship. The pair operates at the intersection of genres, drawing inspiration from compositional techniques in classical music, the experimentation of computer music and the immediacy of pop music, all in the palettes of girly existentialism. The duo’s discography includes the critically acclaimed debut album Believer on XL Recordings, EPs Have fun and Okey, released through XL and Escho, as well as pop fantasy project ALLINA and choir piece Tidligere den dagen with vocal ensemble GAEA on their own label Shopping.

Mun Sing is the solo alias of Harry Wright, a producer, songwriter, visual artist and DJ from Bristol. He has gained a reputation for exhilarating live performances and complex theatrical club music productions. His recorded output often merges tongue-in-cheek playfulness with obtuse rhythms and warped vocal sounds, resulting in some fiercely original dance music.
On his debut LP ‘Inflatable Gravestone’ (Planet Mu, 2023), Mun Sing explored ideas around grief and addiction after the sudden loss of his father. The album received notable critical acclaim across the board including being named as one of Resident Advisor’s best albums of 2023.
He has since been recruited by the likes of Acne Studios to compose music for a number of their runways and projects, most recently the Women’s SS25 collection and the first ever Acne Studios fragrance. He’s produced tracks for the likes of BABii, Gaika and Iceboy Violet and was personally invited by Björk to perform alongside her at special events in Reykjavik and NYC in 2024.
Mun Sing also co-runs the label/clubnight Illegal Data, an important label connecting experimental songwriting and club music, who have released music by Sarahsson, AYA, Manuka Honey, LCY etc. Mun Sing is set to release his next EP ‘Frolic’ on Illegal Data in February 2025.

Released October 23rd 2024 via ÂŁÏÇÉ THE ŁÄBĘŁ, Assembling Symbols Into My Own Poetry takes the words that they’ve spent their entire career scrutinizing and throws them skyward, allowing vulnerability to take control. It’s the sound of a cup that has simply floweth over, it’s the sound of an artist who’s ready to lay it all bare in the name of love. “These songs were made when my life felt alive again. This music talks to my romantic soul, the fountain in my heart, which is where my art has come from since birth,” Longyu Gao say of the project. Much like the fountain from which it came, Assembling offers space for reflection — demolishing childhood trauma on “Little Piggy” or reaching anthemic epiphany on the Danny Brown collaboration “Bird W/O Nest” — and out flows a pure expression of the messy multi-facet that make up the human experience.
